Sharing Saturday - Geeky Girl Bloggers

In honour of International Women’s day this week I wanted to bring attention to a group of women who deserve recognition; geek girl bloggers! The celebration of women comes with messages of inequality, a reminder of why feminism is needed and the gender gap between men and women. One I am keenly aware of is that in the geek world. As seen by my regular feature Geek on the High Street, geek fashion is often limited to just the mens and kids sections. Women aren’t geeky, they don’t like Star Wars, comics or superheroes…. yeah, right! In the last year I have had the fortuneRead More →

Sharing Saturday - tried and tested recipes

One of the things I love about Pinterest is the wide array of yummy recipes people pin. I have had a recipe board for yonks, and recently have started adding Atkins/Keto diet recipes to a diet recipe board too. The problem with pinterest is that you never quite know what you’re going to get from a recipe or a DIY idea. So this week I’m sharing with you some of the recipes found on pinterest that I’ve personally tried and tested. There’s some personal pictures mixed in, however, I don’t have photos of all my attempts sadly.   Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars   UsuallyRead More →

Small business and blogger etsy stores

Sharing Saturday: Geek on the High Street

It’s that time again! The aim of Geek on the High Street is to find and highlight geeky products that can be found in normal high street stores. Unfortunately a lot of women’s clothes stores and department stores like Debenhams & M&S consider geeky stuff to be for men or children. So Geek on the High Street was born to shine a light on some of the hidden geeky treasures for geek girls. I’ll be mainly focusing on women’s fashion since mostly women read my blog, but if anyone is interested in a male version please let me know in the comments! You can check outRead More →

Sharing Saturday: Song Collaborations

One thing I tend to love in my music are collaborations, whether they’re full duets, songs with a snippet from another artist or ones with multiple artists. Over the years I’ve found quite a few that I love and here are some of my favourites! You can find a full playlist over on spotify too 🙂                   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B_UYYPb-Gk     Have you heard any of these before? What’s your favourite collaboration? Got any to share? Let me know in the comments!     Save Save SaveRead More →
