Return of the blog

Everything has been quiet here at the RW Blog due to an unexpected emergency resulting in a trip down to London. Everyone is ok, and now it’s time to get back to normal. Which for me means starting studying. I’d hoped to start in May, but too much was going on and it just wasn’t possible. I still have two months, which is plenty of time, I just want to make sure I use it wisely. Despite my illness messing up my normal progression and dissertation plans, I have been very thankful for it. I needed the time to worry about important things, and helpRead More →

Goodbye April

April is that one part of the year that I’m always glad to see the back of. I’m not sure when it started, it’s been this way since I was a kid. In some ways it is/was great; there was always a 2-3 week holiday, but then came the exams or end of term assignments. Not to mention April’s weather is always completely off the charts. Goodbye February

February was the first month of my new blog content and I did better than I expected, although not as well as intended. I’m struggling right now with an unknown viral illness on top of my normal 6 health issues. It has all the same symptoms as Mono/Glandular Fever but because the test for that keeps coming up negative the doctor I saw refuses to call it that. So I’m in limbo. I’ve been trying to see my normal doctor,Read More →

5 Fandom Friday - In my bag

Lipbalm & Lipgloss I hate dry lips and so I always keep some lipbalm and lipgloss in my bag. I love nivea’s lip care range and use several different ones regularly. The current lipglosses I’m using are from Collection 2000.     Notebook I love having a notebook with me so I can write down anything I need to know, or remember. To do lists keep me sane and stop me from over stressing, and I keep a diary for noting down date specific. Notebooks are also great to have handy if you’re a writer or student; ideas for writing or assignments can come atRead More →

Reviews so far 2016

February is nearly here and with it brings the official start of SPILL the beans, my new monthly blog content. Each month I’ll be posting at least 5 different topics which you can read more about in this entry. I’ve been preparing content for it, but in the mean time here’s a mini review of the nail polishes (introduced here) that I’ve tried so far.   I originally tried the purple one first on the right in this image. Unfortunately it seems that it had been either previously opened or never closed properly. It was a pain to open and when I finally got itRead More →
