Pearl is a gorgeous one to style because it is open to so many different shades; pearls aren’t always white! They can be cream, beige, pink, blue, lavender and even darker shades of grey, blue and lavender. Essentially, they’re the dusty hues of these colours. Birthstone Series: Emerald, May's Birthstone

After the less than inspiring transparency of diamonds last month I was looking forward to the vibrant and lush shades of green that make up May’s birthstone Emerald! Emerald can range from a bright green to a forest green, and even slightly darker.
